The Ladybird Room

Published: 15 Jan '26
The Ladybird Room is an Additionally Resourced Mainstream Provision (ARMS) designed to support neurodivergent children with complex social communication needs. This specialist provision offers tailored teaching and care within a mainstream school setting, ensuring every child receives the support they need to thrive. Pupils attending the Ladybird Room come from across the borough, benefiting from a nurturing environment that promotes inclusion, understanding, and individual progress.
Children accessing the ARMS provision will have a blended learning experience. At times, their learning will take place within The Ladybird Room, and at other times, they will join their mainstream classroom alongside their peers, promoting integration and social development.
Please note: Placement in the ARMS provision is determined through a consultation with the Special Educational Needs (SEN) team at the local authority. The school does not admit children directly into the ARMS provision.
