Article 31- Every child has the right to play, relax and enjoy a wide range of activities.
Today at 5 PM, we went to a chippy (Middleton’s) where we tried Beamish’s iconic fish and chips. We spent half an hour eating our tea before getting ready for our tour around the town. It was time for the walk and we were educated about the buildings and the history of Beamish. After an hours stroll, we went back to our tents and put on pyjamas. Once we were all ready, we had free time doing various activities. When free time was over, we went to sit around the campfire, shared spooky stories and roasted marshmallows. Now the teachers are trying to settle us down and get us to bed. Good luck Miss Pickersgill, Mrs Ward and Mr Bowater!
