Article 28: Every child has a right to an education.

Article 29: Education must develop every child’s personality, talents and abilities to the full. 

The children fully enjoyed their trip to Gibside. We started off our day by exploring the walled garden and woods for minibeasts. Unfortunately because it was such a dry day we only managed to find beetles, ants and spiders. The children still had so much fun exploring the outdoors. After that, we had a picnic lunch in the walled garden followed by parachute games. We especially loved sharks and lifeguards and fruit salad. At the end of the day, we enjoyed ourselves in the Strawberry Castle playground where the children played in the sand, on the zipwire, swings and slides. What a fun filled day we had!
