Article 28: The right to a Good Quality Education
This week Nursery started the week with a very, exciting learning experience. Following the children’s interests based on mini beasts and animals ~ The Animal Ark company were invited into the setting. The children used very kind ‘gentle hands’ to handle the animals and range of creatures appropriately. All of the children were reminded about the importance of hand washing and asked to respectfully handle the animals with care! From snakes to rabbits, lizards to Guinea pigs… the children had a wonderful time exploring a diverse range of animals. The children were able to use a range of magnifying glasses to observe the animals moreg closely and they were encouraged to talk and chat about their observations.
Some of the children overcame a range of animal fears – they were extremely brave and were proud of their achievements. The self-confidence within the Nursery class was amazing to see!
Mrs Linfield is very proud of you all!
