Birtley East children came together to show our respect for Remembrance Day. Each class created their own wreath to commemorate the day. We had a special assembly where school councillors came and laid their wreaths at a cenotaph we had also made. We held a two minute silence at 11am. Our cenotaph and wreaths are on display in the main reception for anyone who would like to see them.
